Media and Publication

A free newspaper for Overseas Filipino Workers, Pinoy Gazette was first published in 1996 and is the most widely circulated Filipino newspaper in Japan. Some 64,000 free copies are distributed every month from Hokkaido to Okinawa. It can be found in Filipino grocery stores, churches, foreign banks, the Philippine Consulate, and various other establishments where Filipinos congregate. Articles are written in English, Tagalog, and Taglish. Included in every issue is a Job Opportunities section which features job listings for those seeking employment. We also publish a monthly ATV program guide that is distributed to ATV subscribers for free. Advertisements for collaterals and TV commercial slots for Access TV are the lifeblood of the publication.

Pinoylife is a community site for Filipinos, which can be accessed via the internet, and through mobile phones. Members can connect with other members who share the same hobbies, worries, passions, etc. Useful information such as job offers, housing, and news advisories are also available.
